Rides and Roads

Like most successful endeavors in life, there need to some tried and true ingredients.  Adding cars or girls to almost anything is a recipe for success....We'll start with cars.

I love to drive.  I love the forest.  Naturally, I love driving through the forest, especially when the roads are as nice as they are in Angeles Crest.  The CA hwy 2, mainly, Angeles Crest Highway, Angeles Forest Road, and Upper Big Tujunga Canyon; are some of the best road to drive on, and they are also a hot spot for motorcycle enthusiasts.  

This is the section of road at the end of the Crest. 

The roads were made for drivin'   This the Mt. Wilson road, a nice and tight rally style road that begs you stick to the inside and makes you push the G forces. 

You can say we had a nice spirited drive.  Safety first, but no harm in having fun...the speed limit is 50mph which can be interesting at times.  

A quick shot from the main Angeles Crest Highway.  The road you see in the distance is Angeles Forest Highway, the road that connects to Palmdale,CA.
